Slow Cooker Beefy Wild Mushroom and Barley Soup
The ingredients are similar to many beef base recipes. I did make a couple of changes from personal preference. I added a bit of diced celery & used stewing beef because it adds more depth to broth based soups. I had just had a very good mushroom, beef & barley soup at a well known patisserie, so I was ready to make my own. I served my soup to a group of friends and they all enjoyed it and asked for the recipe.
