"A response to reviews-the 12gm sugar is listed in the Nutrition Information. Substitute sugars in receipe with Splenda and Splenda Brown Sugar. I skip the nuts because I have a friend who is diabetic and has an allergy to nuts.A tip on the oats-I used the old fashioned rolled oats-spread oats on a cookie sheet at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes or until just turning brown then sprinkle the oats on top."

"Along with all the Christmas baking I made a batch of these dog treats for the dog across the street(hey he deserves a present also). What I did for presents this year was to bake and bake and stir and made all kinds of goodies and then I created a gift"
