"Came on looking for a baking powder biscuit recipe to go along with the pot of cabbage soup I had made. These were delicious and so easy to make. I patted them out, rather than roll, and baked for the 12 minutes until they had just started to brown on top slightly. Because I am on a low salt diet, I left out the salt called for in the recipe, but biscuits really need that extra punch. Next time I will add it. Best part is splitting them the morning after, buttering, and toasting them under the broiler to have with a large cup of coffee for breakfast! LOVE them. The recipe is in my permanent recipe box now, with a large star up in the right hand corner - signifies "keeper" !"

"Since my 4 grown sons were toddlers, I have made whoopie pies from scratch, much to everyone's enjoyment. Wanting a quick chocolate fix a few weeks ago, I made these cookies, did not frost them, but layered two together with a your Whipped Vanilla Frosting - Voila! Faux whoopie pies! They were so quick and easy and so delicious, I've added them to my recipe box. Hope others try and enjoy."

"I wish we could post pictures. I am so pleased with the outcome of this recipe. I did cook the figs a little longer than suggested to allow the liquid to cook down more, and did bake the bottom crust 5 minutes longer, but the results are picture perfect and taste perfect. It will definitely be added to the list of my regular baking recipes. I'm proud of me, and thank you, Betty Crocker!"
