Chocolate kaluha cake
"This is so yummy! Instead of Kaluha, I use Caroline's (similiar to Bailey's, but not as expensive)as it adds more flavor to the cake. I like it better... the taste is creamier. Also for 'icing'.... I mix up caroline's, powdered sugar and butter over a low heat, and drizzle over the cooled cake (be generous)...and then, just for the love of nuts, I sprinkle chopped pecans over the icing. Everyone, everywhere loves this cake! The presentation is nice, and the taste .... I haven't heard one complaint yet..:-)"

Brownies on a Stick
"Delish! Made this originally for a birthday at work, but that was just a start. All the kids in my neighborhood beg me to make these for their birthdays! Young, old and everyone in between - love these! I have dipped them in white chocolate, milk chocolate, peanut butter chips melted (these seem to be everyone's favorite), and sprinkled them with colorful sprinkles to chopped pecans to flaked coconut. They are good no matter what. I usually make them the day before, and have them all ready to dip, and then cover them and put them in the refrigerator all night and dip them the next day. I'm making them again this weekend for the kids across the street. They're fun to make and fun to share. Definitely a #10 recipe! "

Peanut Butter-Pecan Chocolate Chip-Granola Cookies
"They look great! Except for the granola cereal. Has anyone tried using something different in place of the granola cereal?"

Lemon Velvet Cream Cake
"Yumm! I entered this cake in our yearly bake off at work, and it took 2nd place! The taste is incredible. I lost points on the presentation, as I cut the 'judging' piece too thin, so it didn't hold together as well as I would have liked, but all the judges (and everyone else) loved to taste! I did not have enough frosting, and had to make another batch of that, so I would recommend making at least 1 and 1/2 times the recipe for the frosting. And I did as others suggested and added more lemon juice into the frosting and into the cake batter, and used heavy whipping cream. It was really good. I will make it again for sure."

German Chocolate Surprise Cake
"I love this recipe! I just baked this last week and entered it in our sweet tooth contest at work. I forgot that although the recipe calls for 45 minutes baking time, I always have to cook it at least an hour for the middle to be set at all. I took it out of the oven after 45 minutes and put it on the counter for about 10 minutes or so, then flipped it over onto a serving plate. I could tell the middle wasn't done, but was busy so I left it there for about 20 more minutes. Came back to check it - the middle was liquid. I then flipped it back over into the cake pan, and put in back in the oven for another 20 minutes, thinking it was a lost cause. But after 20 minutes, I took it out, let it cool a bit, flipped it back over onto the serving plate, covered it, and the next morning cut it, took it to work, entered it into the contest, and yes, it took first place in the cake category, which had about 25 entries. $50.00 prize $$$!! Yahoo! It was still so good! So, you see why I say....I love this recipe! :-)"
