Butter Brickle Cake
I can't tell you how long I have been making this cake. In the 70's we called it a San Francisco Torte.
Really!! We used the B.C. Butter Brickle cake mix and on the side of the package it had the Torte recipe.
The only difference between this and that is you cut each cake in half so you had 4 pieces. You used the whipped topping in between the layers, on the sides and iced the top with chocolate fudge icing and then sprinkled toffee chips on top.
I am so delighted to find this recipe. I have been making it using yellow cake, chips etc for a long time. Now I know the pudding will make it perfect!! THANK YOU!!
