"I just made these cookies, i took the advice of some others and omitted the shortening, doubled the butter to 1/2 c and added 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla....the absolute best pb cookie I have ever tasted."

I just made these cookies, i took the advice of some others and omitted the shortening, doubled the butter to 1/2 c and added 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla....the absolute best pb cookie I have ever tasted.
