Ham Bone Bean Soup
"Elff20, you will probably be flooded with recipes, and all will be great. Here is one version. 1 ham bone 1 pound pinto beans, navy, northern or whatever you like. 1 onion chopped 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. sugar salt to taste"

"Hey, Cate, I did not know consumers had a place to go with the coupon issue. Am so glad to hear about it. I am fortunate in that my Kroger has never turned me down on a printed coupon. But so many others have. Thanks for the info. Hugs"

Uses for Powdered or Dry Milk
"I stumbled across this recipe in an old book and immediately remembered your post. SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK 1 cup Instant nonfat dry milk 1/3 cup boiling water 2/3 cup sugar 3 Tblsp melted butter or margarine Combine all ingredients in electric blender"
