"This is now a standard at my house. It adds lots of flavor to bland ol' chicken breasts. I did, however, omit the thyme. It added a "whang" to the filling that was off-putting. Now I sub a bit of nutmeg because it goes so well with spinach. This is a good "go to" dish for company, because it looks like a lot of trouble... and everyone likes to feel fussed over. ;)"

"I'm gonna like this recipe... once I get it right. I know why a past reviewer felt this dish was dry, because I just made the same mistake. I used the small can of PET milk (5 oz.) for the pumpkin mixture and it came out dry, but very flavorful & the topping was crunchy and good. However, being a Southerner, I have to add that just because you put pecans on something, doesn't make it "praline"... I tossed some brown sugar, a bit of the butter and a dash of salt with pecans... that brought it a little further South ;)"
