Candy Cane Cookies
These cookies were pretty good, but I did double both the vanilla and the peppermint. They also were pretty time consuming, but I knew that going in, so it didn't bother me. I also refrigerated my dough overnight, and that made it much easier to work with. When I finished, I thought the cookies still needed something, so I dipped the bottoms of the candy canes in leftover chocolate almond bark I had from a previous recipe, and it made them super yummy! Next time, I think I will add a splash of peppermint extract to the almond bark as well, to make it a little extra minty. I will definitely do these cookies again!
