"My whole family loves this soup. I use low salt, organic chicken broth instead of the granules. I also use fresh tortellini and cook it separately, otherwise the broth gets a little starchy. With a salad and crusty bread, you have a GREAT meal."

"We are meat eaters, but I try to make a vegetarian dish once or twice a week. I have made this recipe for my family several times and it is always a hit. I use curry powder instead of turmeric. It is especially good with jasmine or brown basmati rice."

"This recipe is so easy and so good, it is my regular menu rotation!! I use more pasta (1 lb.) and less Italian dressing, so it's less greasy. I also add fresh grated Parmesan at the end. This recipe is also good at room temperature or even cold, sort of like a pasta salad. I'm making it tonight. Yummy!"

"My whole family loves this pea soup. I use green peas, low sodium chicken broth and fresh herbs. When I double the recipe, I use less broth (12-14 cups) and go a little lighter on the herbs and the soup is just the right thickness."
