Roasted Garlic Oven-Baked Chicken
"This chicken is wonderful! I have made it several times and it is always a hit. The cayenne pepper gives it the perfect kick! The chicken is very moist and the skin is crunchy, I have left it in the oven at a low temperature several hours after it was done and it never dried out. "

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potato Soup
"I made this recipe with 4 lbs of real potatoes, one large can of cream of chicken soup and half the water and with fresh shredded mild cheddar and monteray jack cheese and it turned out amazing! The only reason I shredded my own cheese and diced my own potatoes was because it was for a Sunday dinner and I had plenty of time. I also added fresh onion and 3 cloves of garlic. About 4 hrs into it I needed to turn the crock pot onto high and mash some of the large pieces with a potato masher. With sour cream, bacon crumbles, cheese and green onion, this was a winner. My husband is pretty picky and he even liked it, but he had it without the toppings. I made it with fresh bread and salad and it was more than enough, the family raved about it. This is definitely something I will make again, great hearty comfort food!!"

Hearty Beef Stroganoff
"I was very disappointed with this recipe. It smelled and looked great before I added the sour cream. The sour cream flavor overpowered the dish. I did use regular sour cream so maybe that was the culprit. Perhaps only a 1/2 of regular sour cream would have tasted better. "

Pork Chop Skillet Dinner
"I just made this meal and it was pretty good, I would definitely make it again. I used boneless chops and added fresh mushrooms and string beans. I also used 1 and 2/3 cups of beef broth to have some left over. I think I would have been fine with a cup. I also added garlic and italian seasoning. I would of liked the chops to have better color so maybe I didn't brown them enough and they could have been a little more tender. It had great flavor and I would make it again. "

Mini Chocolate Cheesecakes
Rating:
These were absolutely delicious! I have never made cheesecake before and they turned out great. I used regular cocoa and the color still looked the same as the picture. I used oreo cookies on the bottom and placed half of a raspberry on the top of the whip cream instead of more cookie and everyone raved about them. They were not difficult to make at all and they looked like they were! The home made whip cream topped it off. They are very rich and decadent, perfect with coffee. Definitely a hit!

Gluten Free Old Fashioned Potato Salad
Rating:
This is a great recipe for someone who had never made potato salad before. It is very easy to make and tastes wonderful. It's that classic potato salad everyone loves. The potatoes were cooked perfect! I added green pepper and a little more vinegar and it was a hit at our family barbeque!

Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie
Rating:
I made this today and it was delicious. I love casserole type meals and this was so quick and easy. After reading other reviews I altered the recipe a bit. I used Health Smart Bisquick and it tasted just the same. I used colby jack cheese and mozzerella and added garlic, chili seasoning, salt and pepper in the meat. Then I added red hot to the bisquick mixture. I added ketchup and BBQ sauce on top of the cheese before bisquick mixture and used one egg. The meat didn't hold together and I think that's because I used one egg. I used 1 cup of bisquick and 1 1/2 C milk. It turned out great and I would make this again.

Layered Summer Pasta Salad
Rating:
I made this for a family BBQ this weekend. My friends are picky so they didn't devour it like i'd hoped. However, the next day I added some more ranch, colby-jack cheese, more fresh cut veggies, bacon crumbles and chicken. I brought it to another BBQ and people loved it there. Either way it was refreshing and delicious, great idea and quick to make, lots of flavor!
