Slow Cooker Cheesy Italian Tortellini
"This wasn't too bad...our 8 year old wasn't very fond of it, probably because the sauce was so thick."

Shrimp, Sweet Corn and New Potato Boil
"Ok, tasty once fully cooked! I removed the boil bag half way through and the flavor still carried through. Our 8 year old enjoyed it, without any extra butter either. Will make again for sure."

Shrimp, Sweet Corn and New Potato Boil
"O gosh...we haven't eaten this yet and I am a bit araid of how this is going to turn out. The smell of the cayenne in the boil bag is overwhelming, can't be anywhere near the kitchen without coughing. I will revise once we eat it."

Italian Herb Pasta Salad
"I loved this dish! As other reviewers have said, use zesty Italian, and if possible use fresh herbs too. I have also tossed in some leftover shredded chicken to make it a complete meal and my family loves it. I bet this would look nice with tri-color rotini as well. Happy eating!"

Slow Cooker Steak and Potatoes Dinner
"This was fantastic---I did make a few additions like everyone else which I think took it to a new level. I used about 2.5 pounds of stew meat, added another can of diced tomatoes (drained, they were the Hunt's Fire Roasted with Garlic...yum!), and some italian seasoning. Half way through I threw in 4 yukon gold potatoes, skin-on, and cut into 2 inch chunks. SO GOOD! Even for a summer recipe it was a good comfort food. We had a loaf on buttered french bread on the side. Try it!!"

Tuna with Avocado-Kiwi Salsa
Rating:
My fiance and I LOVED this. I didn't have chili oil so I used some vegetable oil and chili powder. I literally could eat this all day--the salsa had a nice zing to it but it wasn't overpowering. My soon-to-be stepdaughter complained that it was too sweet (which for a 7 year old was odd but who knows). I will for sure make again!

Middle East Vegetable Tacos
Rating:
This was DELICIOUS! I used a green pepper and red onion instead of the stated ingredients, and added some basmatti rice with a bit of curry powder as an additional topping. Try this with spinach and artichoke hummus, takes the flavor to a whole new level!
