Slow Cooker Sauerbraten Beef My husband who lived in Germany while in the Army for a few years, said it was the best he ever had. I liked it but thought it slightly bitter. My 2 1/2 year old is having seconds. I did not have bay leaves though, so it went without since I didn't not have time to go to the store. I give it 4 spoons.
