"Turned out moist, which was good. Tasted like something you'd want to eat for breakfast. I didn't think the powdered sugar was enough of a topping, but didn't want to even try the fattening orange sauce. I just a little regular frosting and drizzled it on, and it turned out good. Not my favorite cake recipe though..."

"I am an avid cake baker and have tried hundreds of recipes from mixes and from scratch, and let me tell you this is the easiest way to make a fantastic cake. The butter rum variation is WONDERFUL, but I have also substituted with chocolate, pistachio, and many other flavors of cake mix and pudding combination. Just take out the rum, substitute for water (and leave the frosting alone) and you can turn this cake into any flavor."
