Slow-Cooker Peach Cobbler
I made this today - as it was 108 degrees here in Sacramento, CA and no way was I using my over as I needed it for a church pot luck. I accidently used nectarines instead of peaches. I also added: only 1/2 cup of milk and added a 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1 tsp. lemon juice. I followed the recipe from there on. It was totally cooked in 3 hours on the low setting and was completely eaten within the next half hour. Wow - was it ever good and easy. I am glad that I read all of the reviews first or it may not have turned out so terrific. Thanks to all of you.

Kielbasa and Cheesy Potatoes
It works better if you use what my gram used to call lianiased potatoes - fresh sliced potatoes that layer with shredded cheese (your choice of cheese - we used cheddar or a mexican blend); about a cup of chopped red or yellow onion; about a cup each of frozen green giant corn and string beans each. Pour 1 - 1-1/2 cup of milk half way up the casserole dish. Pop in the microwave oven for 20 minutes. Then pop into a 375 degree oven with sliced kielbasa on top for 20 minutes. Last 5 minutes turn on broiler and brown the kielbasa. Yum-o!

Pumpkin Dessert Squares
To Grannyfoster - yes - I made this without the nuts - I am not allergic - just don't like them. I used 2 Teaspoons Almond Extract flavoring in place of the nuts. That seemed to work out okay. But I had to use an extra 1/4 of Bisquick to replace the volume that you loose when you take out the nuts. It turned out very nice. I used a big dollop of Cool Whip on the top and everyone loved it.

Ultimate Mac and Cheese
I agree - if you havn't made the food - then why write a review. And yes - Comfort food is high in calories - but who cares!! I made this recipe and took it to a pot-luck lunch. I was left with an empty casserole dish in under 8 minutes. Everyone loved it. At first I thought there was a bit to much milk - but not with the amount of cheese and types of cheeses used. This is Comfort Food at it's best!!! Will definately make it again - but will cut it in half for just my family of 2.
