"These were time consuming and the crushed candy canes mixed with the sugar created sink holes in the cookies. They are cute and festive but bland. Maybe next year I will add more pepermint and take one of the other reviewers advice and dunk them in chocolate :)"

"I made these for a bake sale at my son''s school and they were a HUGE hit. They sold immidiately. I revamped the decorationing a bit. I did not put a mouth on them, I used sour cherry balls for the noses and chocolate chips for eyes, I also used milk chocolate frosting to make it a bit more like the colouring of a deer...they were SO CUTE!!"

"These are SO YUMMY!!! I omitted the almond paste tho. I dislike almond flavouring and so does my family and they were still delicious. I put hershey kisses inside half of them for a little suprise!"
