Fettuccine with Fennel and Spicy Sausage
"This is a wonderful delightful recipe. My husband who loves Italian sausage wanted to double the meat. We added a pinch of red pepper (we like spicy). We kept all the rest of the ingredients the same. We also sauted some sweet Italian links to go with this. We really liked it. It was refreshingly different. All the flavors meld together nicely. The crunch from the crisp tender vegetables is a nice touch. I love fennel so this recipe caught my eye and I'm glad it did. Hats off to whomever came up with this one. It will definitely go into my printed collection of favorite recipes. YUM!"

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potato Soup
"Omg! This soup is to die for! I knew it sounded good but it taste divine. I added 2 chicken bouillon cubes to the potato mixture and added extra cheese, otherwise I followed the recipe. Although I added a few things it really didn't need it. I used skim milk which is what I had. Had a little problem finding the American Cheddar cheese blend at our local supermarkets but did eventually find it at Walmart. I could have just substituted cheddar but I wanted to try it as close to the recipe as possible. It's now in my recipe book of favorties. Will make this again and again. the bacon bits and chopped green onion adds a nice touch. Thanks for an awesome but simple recipe, we DID NOT find it bland at all. Delish!"

Impossibly Easy Taco Pie
"Made this the other night and it was a big hit. So easy and quick to make. Only complaint was there wasn't enough. Whole family loved it. Next time will double recipe and cook in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Did add extra cheese. After cooking topped with sour cream, diced Roma tomatoes, guacamole, and fresh salsa. Will add to my printed recipe book of favorites."

Parmesan-Dijon Chicken
"These were delicious. Made without modifications first time I made these and they turned out great. Will modify a few things next time like mix some panko bread crumbs and maybe a few spices in the mix. Used a Horseradish mustard the second time and it gave it a little kick. Good recipe and it's easy!"

Chicken Breasts with Creamy Mushroom Gravy
"Pretty good. I spiced up the Bisquick mix with some smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Used some chicken broth in the gravy (cut back the milk to half). Served with rice pilaf and carrots cooked in chicken broth. Was very tasty. Will make this again."

Turkey and Wild Rice Casserole
Rating:
DELICIOUS!!! I love brown & wild rice. I substituted chicken for the turkey. Boiled a whole chicken thereby making my own broth. Doubled the bread crumb mixture. Otherwise followed the recipe as shown. I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious this was. The mixed veggie steamers added a nice touch. Have made this a few times now. I have to say I have been very impressed with the "Healthified" line of recipes on this website. Have made at least 5 of them so far and LOVED every one!!

Healthified Cashew Chicken and Broccoli
Rating:
Very tasty! We substituted roasted almond slivers (we roasted the almonds)in place of cashews since I'm not fond of cashews, and added 2 cloves chopped fresh garlic while cooking the chicken and gingerroot. Otherwise we followed the recipe exactly. Our family really liked! Think next time I'll use a white onion coarsly chopped in place of the green onions.

Very tasty. I brushed the mustard mixture on the chicken breast with pastry brush otherwise it wasn't enough for 6 breast, which worked out better.

Healthified Smothered Pork Chops
Rating:
Delicious!! Only change I made was I transferred the browned (used bone-in assorted) pork chops to oblong baking dish with onions and (extra) sliced and whole mushrooms. Poured soup mixture (which I tripled ingredients for extra gravy) over all and baked 300 degree pre-heated oven for 3 hours. Then removed meat, skimmed visible fat and added sour cream to gravy. Served over brown rice pasta. Meat was very tender as opposed to not baking. This one definately goes into my recipe book. Thanks.
