Baklava Bars
"When I do not have time to make baklava from scratch, this is the recipe I reach for. The only change I make is crumbling the entire box of phyllo cups on top. If the pan will be for "home" use, I double the glaze. If it is for a party, I do not double it as it is a little messy for serving but I always make sure to take a copy of the recipe with me. LOVE THIS!!! "

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese
"Followed the instructions exactly the first two times I made this and found it was very thick after baking but loved the flavor. Third attempt...skipped the baking in step 4...ate it right from the stovetop. PERFECT!!!! It was smooth and creamy and I even added a bit more onion. Definitely a keeper..."

Chocolate-Cream Cheese-Peanut Butter Bars

With only a short baking time for the crust, these are wonderful when you need something on short notice on a HOT day. These are super easy and delicious. They turned out perfectly and I made no subsitutions. A KEEPER!!!!

Coconut Cherry Bars

Loved these...Increased coconut to 1 C. and substituted cherry extract for vanilla. As a huge cherry lover, I will make these when I do NOT want to share them with anyone.

German Chocolate Bars
Rating:
These looked like the photo when I took them out of the oven, but fell like a pancake when they cooled. Hubby would not even try them. I thought they tasted good, but would need some pointers about what I did wrong before attempting them again.

Cherries Jubilee Cheesecake Bars
Rating:
I could not find either cherry cake mix or cherry frosting so substituted strawberry. Was very pleased. The center dropped slightly during cooling. Read a review suggesting coconut cake mix as a substitute which sounds wonderful. Will definitely try these again.
