"No doubt the best country fried steaks come out of those retro diners dotted along the ancient highways and biways that connect this grand old U S of A. They just taste great. Now you can travel no further than your kitchen and find that same diner quality. Prep was a sinch, cooking time a snap! Watch your temp on the oil, they taste better when they are a golden crunchy brown. The gravy is amazing if you don't overcook the patties. I doubled the recipe for sandwiches the next day on toasted 21 wholegrain bread with a hint of mayo and generous slices of perfectly ripe and juicy hot house tomatoes. Or individually wrap them in wax paper after they've cooled and freeze them for a future quick dinner idea!"

"Totally worth the time and the wait! Browning the chicken really brought the flavors to a new level and I added fresh chopped leeks to enhance the soup mixture, which by the way is the secret ingredient! Off the hook flavor and lots of yummy leftovers! Another super big hit!!!"

"Using scented candles and "plugins" are 2 of my favorite ways to liven up the atmosphere in my home. After hanging out with this recipe all day, now I have a 3rd! The simplicity of browning, adding and walking away sure made for a unique mouthwatering aromatic. As I type, I haven't even eaten yet, but when you cook as much as I do, "you know from the nose" that dinner is ON!!! Too bad Super Bowl has past, this would have had everyone cheering no matter which team was winning!"

"After an incredibly long and rainy day of running errands, the LAST thing I wanted to do was cook dinner from scratch. This recipe was such a great go-to! I did take a little extra time to make it my own by adding sauteed onions, garlic, bell pepper, baby bellas and tomatoes (double batch, one to freeze for the next rainy day). The result was so delicious, leftovers a great lunch for work the next day and clean up a snap! I'm giving it an extra spoon for a total of 6!!!"
