"I cut the recipe in half, and baked it in a 9 x 13 pan for 35 minutes. I used real butter and a mixture of almonds and walnuts. It turned out great, and everyone in the family loved it. This was quick and easy to put together and I will make it again very soon. For the people who had their dessert turn out soggy, bring the butter to room temperature and don't melt it. Use firm strawberries, not soft over-ripe ones. Press in the bottom layer of crumbs with a spoon and gently press down on the top layer also. This helps to seal in the filling so it's not oozing out over the top. Hope this helps."
