Don't know how they got the nice thin layer of candy coating on the pops. Used Wilton candy wafers, and even after thinning, the white layer was so thick and glopped on, there was no way I was going to dip them again. All went well until the dipping process. So perhaps a different brand of candy coating would have helped. Also, my batch made 36 pops, and I felt they were almost too large even at that number. I attempted to coat 2 and gave up after that. Stuck them in the freezer undipped and will just coat them in some chocolate almond bark...they'll still taste good.
