I made this at home instead of camping, so I modified a bit. I used freshly chopped onions and added garlic, cumin, and a dash of tabasco. It was super quick and easy to make. Perfect for my cold nights here in Sweden, and the extra spice helps with nasal congestion. The consistency is a bit on the runny side, but that isn't anything a bit of simmering on low heat couldn't fix. A good, solid recipe. Not like grandma's, but still very tasty. :)

The Ultimate Brownie
I am an avid baker and college student studying abroad in Sweden and I was looking for a brownie recipe to replicate the Betty Crocker boxed brownies from back home. I had to double this recipe to fit the pan I was using, converted everything from english to metric units, and I used Swedish baking chocolate (perhaps one of these was the problem), but these brownies turned out more like chocolate cake than the moist, chewy brownies I'm used to. I had my international roommates as well as my friends from the states try them and they were all disappointed. Not inedible, but not very tasty either.
