"Gluten Free Bisquick contains leavening whereas Gluten Free Flour does not. Using a regular gluten free flour blend will NOT work without adding leavening. Ask your grocer to get the gluten free Bisquick. "

"Why two entries of sugar? The first one fourth cup of sugar goes with the peaches. The second sugar is mixed with the Bisquick for the topping. Peaches are fresh and juicy now - give it a try."

MarcieDLG - Just let the cake cool 5 minutes and then start the poking and pouring. Your cake will soak up the milk mixture. Enjoy!

cassruff - You can make this ahead but expect to lose some of the puffiness you would get if baked immediately.

To Warzone - The cupcakes are mini only because the muffin pan is filled only half as full. They're shorter cakes with lots of topping - yum. And you get twice as many.

Chocolate Chip Scones

The step images were meant as a guide for scone making. The Bisquick recipe offered already has the fat incorporated in the mix saving a step. If you want to make scones with butter as in the images search for Gold Medal Classic Scones and use the variation at the bottom with chocolate chips. Sorry for the confusion and Happy Baking!
