Gluten Free Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake
"Seconds, please?! WOW! Was this good! I made mine so I could freeze it for breakfast in the morning. I just had it for dinner and I am having a hard time not going for thirds. I used a mix of cheeses in a package that had cheddar, jack, and American in it. Much better than using plain cheddar! Then for the milk I used half and half. The rest of the recipe was the same. It is really good! "

Ham and Cheddar Torta
"Gluten Free . . . I gave this a try with Bisquick Gluten Free. I had to add a little more olive oil than the 1/3 of a cup dressing. I didn't have dressing so I made some of my own. I also threw in an egg because it was just too powdery. I'm giving it 5-stars because overall it tastes really good. The crust needs more work. I think next time I'll add Parmesan cheese and maybe a cheese mix for the topping. BTW--this is my breakfast torte. I can freeze it and have a complete breakfast in a minute or two. Very good! Try it!"

Cheesy Sausage and Egg Bake
"I am useless in the morning. I just can't function. Having this recipe available was so nice! I cut it up and froze half of it and it still comes out great in the microwave after heating it up from frozen. Instead of tomatoes I used salsa to give it a little kick! It is easy, delicious, and so handy to have a good breakfast when you are in a hurry or don't want to fuss with it. I loved this one."

Gluten Free Cookie Brownie Bars
"I followed the advice of the others and added xantham gum, but I didn't have sour cream. Instead I added Stoneyfield Vanilla Yogurt. The flavor is out of this world! Tonight is the bookclub so I hope they will like them as well. The only problem I have with them is they are a bit crumbly. It's hard to pick one up without it falling apart. Maybe I added a little too much of the yogurt? It is a tiny bit thinner than sour cream I think. Another thing I didn't do was to press the cookie dough into the pan a little bit as someone suggested. So, maybe that has something to do with it. I just dropped spoonfuls in and glopped the brownie batter between the cookie dough. Despite this tiny error, these brownies rival any other brownies I have ever had in my life. They are excellent!"

Gluten Free Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake
"Great coffee cake! This is really, really good. I made mine with peach filling. The one cup of glaze turned out to be too much for me because I didn't want to smother the thing in topping. I put as much as the picture showed and that left me with almost half of what I made. Also, I made it in 8" pans. I had to cook it a little bit longer than 25 minutes. Everyone was right! You can't tell this is gluten free at all. I'm taking these to the book club meeting tonight."

Gluten Free Carrot Cake
Rating:
OH! Something wonderful to eat! THANK YOU BETTY CROCKER! This was soooo good! It's been over a year since I've had a decent dessert. This was just heaven. The cake was moist and light. I was only going to eat a tiny bit (yah, right!) I had trouble to stop eating it. The only thing I didn't understand was the part where I put cream cheese icing home a warm cake. The icing slid off. So, next time I'll let the cake cool completely before putting the icing on.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese
Rating:
I made a variation of this recipe. It was much better than boxed mac and cheese. I had cheddar cheese powder that my grocery sells. I used 4 oz of cream cheese. Then, instead of the milk I used cream and water. It was very good. But,what I wanted to comment on is, if you are using the gluten free pasta, don't bake it for the full time listed. After you mix the cheese sauce, just put in the oven to heat it up for 10 minutes or so.

Honey-Mustard Chicken and Carrots

What a surprise this was! While I was making it, I just couldn't understand how this was going to taste like anything. It was really good! I made mac and cheese (gluten free pasta) to go with it, and the gluten free carrot cake, listed on this site. It was a wonderful meal! I am so pleased because it was very simple to do.

Gluten Free Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie
Rating:
This is really, really good! I'm still trying to figure out how the cheese got to the top of the dish when cooking. I didn't have cheddar cheese. But, I did have a Mexican cheese mix of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and I added some Parmesan. It really does taste like a cheeseburger, only better! This is going into my favorites file. It couldn't have been easier, too!
