Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings Made this last night and it was fabulous! A couple of changes, however: Couldn't find leek soup: substitute onion soup instead Wanted to eliminate the oil and not mess with cutting up the chicken: I used whole, boneless chicken breasts and just broke them apart before I put the biscuits in. Added pepper and a dash of salt to taste, but left out the peas. I chopped up all of the veggies the night before so that before leaving all I had to do was dump in the pot and walk out the door!
