OK, so I was really looking forward to making these bars because I love Baklava. I should have read thru all of the reviews first. I took the advice of one reviewer who wrote "to make them extra gooey, double the glaze". Maybe for some people it would be ok, but I found them tooooooo sweet. I cut them into candy size pieces and still found them too sweet for my palate. I hate to waste food, but I threw the batch out. I think if I make them again, I will take the advice of some that said they did not need the glaze. Also, I would leave out the lemon juice. I'm sure they are delicious without the glaze.
