Slow Cooker Potato and Double-Corn Chowder
My daughter and I have always loved cream of potato soup and when I saw this recipe, it caught my eye and I just had to try it. Before serving I added chopped scallions, more crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar. My daughter went nuts so I'll definitely be making this again! Just as good without the bacon which makes it meatless and vegetarian worthy.

Dilled Cucumber and Tomato Salad
I've made this for years but I never added sugar or dill, I think I'll try it this way. We love cuke-tomato salad around here, especially in summer when the veggies are plentiful in the garden. Also a bit of parsley is good in this...

Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
I was going to make a different version that used more ingredients but I didn't have tomato paste and didn't feel like going to the store. I found this recipe and I liked it so much more! Less ingredients and the taste is fabulous! We ate it on buns and topped with cheddar slices. I used the long cook method, followed another users advice and used onion powder instead of onions and there were no green peppers which pleased me. There were no left overs and I'll definintely make it again! So easy and so very yummy!

Oven-Fried Chicken Tenders
This recipe is TDF! I used boneless, skinless breasts instead of tenders. As a southerner I consider myself a fried chicken expert and this makes me want to retire my deep fryer!LOL My grandmother just turned over because this is my new fried chicken recipe!

Slow Cooker Jambalaya
I've made other Jambalayas but I liked the convenience of the slow cooker with this one. Easy prep and it cooked while we were at church. My picky daughter ate 2 helpings and took some home with her.The only differences were I didn't have pepper sauce so I used ground cayenne and some Cajun seasoning instead of plain salt. I also used turkey sausage instead of pork. This recipe is a definite keeper in my files!
