"This review could be used for each of these potato casserole mixes....somehow, the quantity of dried potatoes included in the mixes keeps decreasing, but the amounts required for the sauces remain the same. I have found for the scalloped, 4 cheese, augratin, and now the sour cream and chives all neede at least 2 or 3 good sized potatoes sliced thin and added to the dish. Otherwise there's so much sauce it looks more like soup. The flavor is too good to get this kind of "downsizing". Please return the amount of dried potatoes to a reasonable amount."

"I prefer an older Betty Crocker recipe that's much easier -- 1 can peach pie filling + 2 fresh peaches sliced placed in 9x12 cake pan; one box Betty Crocker cake mix -- white or yellow - poured (dry) over the filling; melt 1/2 stick butter and drizzle over the dry cake filling; bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Add 1 cup blueberries if desired. Also works with combining other canned pie fillings with about 1 cup of fresh fruit -- apples, cherries, or strawberries. "

"Ava-Deb -- I'm assuming you at least partially thaw the frozen hash browns first, but about how big a bag will fill the 12 muffin cups about half way? I usually have bags of frozen hash browns on hand, but am not sure about how much I would need to thaw from a large bag. "

"Really quick way to make this "Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo" is to thaw the frozen salad shrimp and add to the noodles and sauce. Much quicker than cooking shrimp to add to the Fettuccine. Also, look for the fettuccine noodles in the dairy case -- soo much better than dried noodles!"
