"NOT a very pretty dish . . . but tasty and flavorful. If you're already a fan of wild rice - this recipe is a keeper! It's oh-so-easy in the crockpot. The dried cranberries add just enough sweet and the toasted almonds a nice crunch. I wish it looked as great as it tastes. I accumulated a handful of tasty slow cooker recipes and this is one of them. "

"I followed the recipe to the T (except that I used a 7 inch square pan instead of 9 inch). It turned out perfect. The batter was plenty and spreadable for a 7 inch pan. I put glaze on this time but will probably leave it off next time as the cake is plenty sweet. Everyone loves it! I take it to brunches."

"I am always looking for ways to cook up salmon that make taste buds water. This recipe will go into my collection. You either hate or love cilantro, and I happen to love it. Cilantro makes anything taste good to my experience. The butter is a definite plus (always pleases my husband). With 3 kids 7 and under, it's hard to find things to feed them that ask for more . . . this is one of them. I recommend it, easy, fast, tasty."

"To each his own I guess. I didn't find this dish tasty enough to make again. It looks pretty and the ingredients sound tasty and healthy enough, but it was just too bland. I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not impressed enough to make it again or recommend it."

If you haven't cooked up the recipe, you shouldn't "write a review." I'm surprised by the unbased opinions that folks have about things they haven't tried. We want to hear from someone who knows . . . not someone who's guessing. That's my opinion.

I've added this to my recipe book of things I make over and again. I make it exactly as the recipe reads. Delicious, healthy. It's a keeper. I love that it cooks in the slow cooker and is ready without fuss at all by dinner.
