"Before I try this recipe I noticed that the picture appears to show sliced bread..two pieces one on top of another. That would not be the same as a one inch piece. Also what happen when it bakes..seems like the eggs would stick from sitting all night. Guess I will have to try and experiment with i/2 a recipe. "
