"There is another version of this recipe... I cooked it and it was fabulous! I didn't know there was a (Cooking for 2) version, but I must ask... the meat is cut down to 1/4 in this recipe and there is no cream cheese! I don't understand. Anyone who really liked this, may want to try the full version. I would add less than 2lbs of stew meat (plus mine was so tender the meat just fell apart - so it was more shreaded). There is either Golden Mushroom Soup OR Cream of Mushroom - NOT Creamy Golden Mushroom! I used the Golden Mushroom."

"This was absolutely wonderful! OMG! My family loved this! I added about double the mushrooms, but fresh, not canned and I definitely would only put in about 1 lb of stew meat rather than 2... LOVED it!!! The recipe calls for Creamy Golden Mushroom... which I have never seen - I choose to add the Golden Mushroom and it turned out great!!! I might try the creamy mushroom next time. I see there is a version for 2... This made a lot, served with frozen baby peas. Delicious! @Catquea - you are not supposed to cook the noodles in the stroganoff... you cook them seperately and serve the beef stroganoff on top of the noodles!"
