"As a substitute for broth, I often use the same amount of water and include 2 to 3 boullion cubes per cup - not quite the same, but very close. I made this and loved it, but I did add a little flavor with a tad of garlic and a couple of shakes Tony Caceras (sp?) spice blend. Fed us twice with left overs for my lunch later in the week."

"This is an excellent recipe and so easy to make. It''s a great alternative to Banana Bread for using your ripe bananas! It''s now a regular in our family. And, I might say although I liked them straight from the oven, my husband prefers them after they''ve cooled, he thinks they taste better then. After I''d made a few batches, I added a couple of tablespoons of faxseed and that turned out great too!"
