Bisquick® Chocolate Chip Cookies
"I agree with several others......these are the best CCC's! So quick, easy and no white sugar.Plus, they STAY chewy in the middle/crispy on the edges. I added a cup of walnuts to mine as well. However, I got 30 normal sized cookies and the bake time was 15 minutes. You have to watch them since they don't brown up the same as regular CCC's. The new standard for this house!"

S'mores Brownies
"I don't think any of the brownie based recipes here have been anything but "5 spoons" - all wonderful, and this is no exception. Perfect amount of marshmallows/candy. However, I started mixing and realized I was out of grahams.....so, I added a half cup of walnuts and continued in a 9" pan. Excellent....and any decent cook should know.......KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BROILER PREP! Also, I used a chefs knife dipped in hot water then shaken to cut them....it worked well....the small amount of heat/moisture really helped."

Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake
"Possible goofs on this...a 15" baking pan??? I used a 12 x 9-3/4 casserole pan. Plus,no way one can of pie filling would handle this....common sense - 4 c. Bisquick to 1 can of filling??? Well, I'm glad I had a huge jar of tart cherries in juice. I drained and added them to a can of pie filling. Thank goodness! I believe your photo must have been taken using the 9" pan with 1 can of filling....not your suggestion of preserves! Also, had to spray my hand with cooking spray in order to spread the bottom layer of batter. I will probably only make this again if I need a take along or perhaps do the 9" next time instead. Hubby who loves anything cherry and not overly sweet, loved it. It was just ok to me. "

Fig Bars
"I did a major faux pas on this one.....I did something I NEVER do...I tweaked the recipe instead of following the recipe the first time as I always do. Instead of making the fig filling, I used a jar of fig with ginger jam I had from a local gourmet shop figuring it would work well. NOT!!!! It made for a SUPER SWEET filling! So sweet in fact that I tossed half of the squares out. However, I will make this again....the correct way, and I gave it 5 spoons since this time it was my bad and the crust/topping were delicious as usual from Betty!"

Raspberry Ribbon Slices
"For hubby/5 stars - me/3 stars.....way to sweet. I guess I'm just not a sugar cookie fan. I was expecting them to be more like the taste of shortbread....sorry, my bad. They were really quick/easy to make. I only used 1 cookie sheet which is exactly 12" wide. Sprinkled a little flour on the pan and rolled them right on there until the logs reached both ends....super easy this way. Also, used the back of a rounded 1/2 tsp. measuring spoon to make the jam indent. I had some lower suger berry mix jam which worked well. They sliced up/slid off the pan really well as well. You could really embellish these for your own taste buds.....peanut butter, fig jam, Nutella perhaps next time?"

Chocolate-Marshmallow Pillows
Rating:
After trying these, my hubby replied: "These are award winning"! I told him he'd make a great judge ;) They REALLY are good, and actually even better the next day. Easy to make and came out perfectly using a tablespoon scoop. There was some excess frosting left, and I really frosted them abundantly, no problemo, I saved it to make hot chocolate. Great way to use a pouch of cookie mix!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

This was so good. Very easy and had great flavor. The next time, I would probably only use half the cream cheese as well as half the sour cream. I will make it again.

Five spoons...OMG, maybe 10 spoons!!!! Toooooooo good! And BTW, I used the 9" pan & cut them to make 16, not 24. My hubby still ate 2 each time. They are to die for!

Chicken-Chile Quesadillas
Rating:
I agree these were delicious. I used all stated ingredients however I roasted 2 chicken breast [with ribs] halves instead of using a grocers rotissorie chicken. I do think next time I would opt for taco sized tortillas rather than the burrito sized....way too big. I will make them again.
