"we love this. i don't know why the first reviewer gave it one star with a comment about using white meat. use whatever you like. it's a free country. we to prefer white meat, but thigh meat retains it's moisture for a long cooking method as used here. try using a whole cut up chicken. this way you get the best of everything!"

"i made this for thanksgiving. it is YUMMY! very moist and not overpowering of pumpkin. the only change i made was i used 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice. i did make the glaze, but would be just as good plain. this is a keeper. so easy and good. will be making these again in mini loaf pans for my christmas baskets i give out with homemade goodies. "

"i made this last night, and , WOW! living in southern california i use my crock-pot all year. i had a 5lb. chicken so i doubled the ingredients, and cooked it for 7 hours. perfect! i used the leftover garlic in my mashed potatoes. this is going to a regular in our house."

"this is so yummy! i have been making this for years. instead of baking a pumpkin and pecan pie for thanksgiving. i make this. so much easier, and just as good. it's like having both in one dessert. can't beat that. i follow the recipe exactly, and turns out every time. make it this thankgiving. you and your guests won't be dissappointed!"

"this is a favorite in our house. we love salmon, and this is so easy and delicious. i double the dill and cheese, and use red salmon. this is great for entertaining as it is equally good hot, cold or room temperature."
