"These were not good to me, but my family seemed to enjoy them. If I make them again, I'm going to omit the thyme. It was way too strong. I don't really like thyme anyway, so when I was preparing the filling, it smelled horrible, and unfortunately, I thought the taste was similar to the smell. I only gave it three stars because my family liked them. "

"I made this recipe tonight and loved it. However, I did make a few changes. Since I am a vegetarian, I used Lightlife brand meatless sausage. I also added chopped green bell pepper (which is the perfect sidekick for onions). I omitted the sage, and also used Egg Beaters instead of real eggs (for no cholesterol). Oh...and I also used Cabot brand lactose-free light sharp cheddar cheese and lactose-free milk so that my brother could eat it also. He enjoyed it as well. It was very moist and delicious. I will definitely make it again."
