"My family loves these chicken fingers. However, I did make a few changes last night...and they turned out even better! Since I thawed out 4 pieces of chicken, I increased the amount of each ingredient (1 cup Bisquick, 3/4 tsp garlic salt, and 3/4 tsp Paprika). Instead of using 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, I used 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and added a breadcrumb mixture I found on another website a while back. Recipe as follows: I put 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs in a warm oiled skillet and stirred them often until they started to get some color to them. Then I added 1 tsp minced garlic and stirred until the bread crumbs were browned. Then, I set it aside to cool. I added this to my Bisquick mixture. I also added about 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper. I decided not to dip the chicken in egg before putting it into the bag. One time I had forgotten, and my family actually preferred it that way. It's easier too. Also, for less calories, instead of using melted butter, I just sprayed butter flavored spray on top of each piece after putting it onto the pan. I cooked the chicken for about 7 minutes, flipped it over, sprayed more butter flavored spray on it, and put it back in for about 10 minutes. It was perfectly browned and crispy looking. It looked like fried chicken from a restaurant. I'm a vegetarian, but my mouth was watering! My family loved it. Hope your family does as well."

"These were not good to me, but my family seemed to enjoy them. If I make them again, I'm going to omit the thyme. It was way too strong. I don't really like thyme anyway, so when I was preparing the filling, it smelled horrible, and unfortunately, I thought the taste was similar to the smell. I only gave it three stars because my family liked them. "

"I made this recipe tonight and loved it. However, I did make a few changes. Since I am a vegetarian, I used Lightlife brand meatless sausage. I also added chopped green bell pepper (which is the perfect sidekick for onions). I omitted the sage, and also used Egg Beaters instead of real eggs (for no cholesterol). Oh...and I also used Cabot brand lactose-free light sharp cheddar cheese and lactose-free milk so that my brother could eat it also. He enjoyed it as well. It was very moist and delicious. I will definitely make it again."
