"Admittedly garlic cloves vary in size. The two I used contributed an overwhelming garlic flavor and bite. We like bruschetta as a combination salad and bread part of our meal, not necessarily as an appetizer. I will make this again because it is easy but will rub a cut garlic clove on the bread instead of adding garlic to the tomatoes. I found the capers to be an optional ingredient."

"We enjoyed this quick and easy recipe. I had a piece of smoked turkey breast that I cut up and it worked very nicely."

"This was very good. I used 3/4 lb. of fresh raspberries for the 12oz frozen mixed berries since I have them. It was a simple way to use all the fresh raspberries. A little dollop of whipped cream adds a nice accent."

"We used this recipe as a basic concept for out trifle. Since it is early April the only berries available in our grocery store were strawberries so we used frozen blueberries and frozen blackberries. We also decided to use frozen pound cake so it wouldn''t become soggy as the berries thawed. We followed the recipe using these alternative ingredients in their frozen state. It sat in the refrigerator for about 4 hours but we served it slightly frozen. It was pretty to look at and delicious to eat. We can hardly wait for the berry season to begin here in Oregon so we can make the recipe as originally written."
