Just-in-Time Pork Stew
As I was making this, I thought that the results might not be worth the effort, as this is a fairly labor-intensive recipe. I was wrong, this stew has a wonderful flavor, especially the broth. Mine did not thicken much so I would say it was more like soup which is fine except I had large chunks of vegetables that made it difficult to eat as a soup. Could be great, with just a few modifications.

Very good and easy to make. I used fresh blueberries instead and also completely forgot to add the lemon zest, so mine were just regular blueberry scones, but still delicious. Perfect scone taste and texture.

Spiced Orange Star Cocktail Cookies
Delicious--the icing really makes the cookie. I had to use a lot more powdered sugar than the recipe called for (and no extra milk). Following the icing recipe exactly made really runny icing (it was even too runny to pipe).

Do-Ahead Chicken-Leek Strata
We liked this. It was pretty easy to put together, smelled wonderful and had a good flavor. The top browned nicely, but the bottom was mushy, so I would've rated this higher if I felt it had cooked a little more evenly.

Honey Nutty Chex® Mix
I made this and bagged up little portions for my family as an Easter gift. Everyone LOVED it! The sunflower seeds and the chocolate really make this special. And you could always substitute other color chocolate to follow whatever special event you are making this for. This one is going in my keeper file!

Overnight French Toast
This is a keeper recipe for sure. The toast was fabulous. I liked the Glorious Orange Sauce, but it was a little strong for me. I think the French toast can stand on it's own, or even with a little powdered sugar or maple syrup.
