"I made this exactly as written (except I added sliced almonds to the top) and it was excellent! My family ate 1/2 of it for breakfast and the other 1/2 for a snack. Everyone agreed that it was the best coffee cake that I had ever made. I think what makes it especially good is that it is sweet but not too sweet. Will try with another flavor pie filling next time!"
