"I made half recipe for 4 of us for Easter breakfast and it is really good - VERY rich!! Pretty simple to make. I used an 8x8 baking dish. I bought the bread at TJ's and it was already thick sliced so I only used one layer. Next time I would layer the bananas on the bottom and top with the brown sugar mixture. It would be nice with whipped cream:) on top!"

"This has a real kick to it. I used A1 Steak Sauce and reduced fat Cheese-Its. Next time I would not do the MW as the chex got soggy. I would do the oven @250º for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. I would also add the spices to the melted butter and add all dry ingredients except the onions before baking."

"Very good for a weeknight dinner. I only used 6 tortillas and it was probably runnier than it would have been with 8. I think I would use more salsa and less cooking sauce for more flavor. Or, using medium or hot salsa would add more zip. The recipe was miswritten - it should read 1/3 each of the chicken mixture and cheese per layer."

"This is a good recipe but not a WOW! I used spinach fettuccine that I had on hand. The store Muir Glen tomatoes so I used regular crushed (don't know if that would make a big difference) and I used a creole seasoning that I had. I thought the sauce was a little too harsh. I used a smoked beef sausage and hind sight think the smoked turkey sausage would have been better, a little less spicy."

"I made these for a party. I doubled the recipe and they all went! So good. I assembled them the day before and sprinkled a light amount of brown sugar over the smokies right before putting in the oven. The bacon got done better in a 375º oven and the smokies were nice an crisp-like!"

Great weeknight dinner or for a party buffet. I used shredded rotisserie chicken and nonfat sour cream. I would use hotter than mild salsa next time. Also, more romaine and less chicken. Cubed chicken might be better than shredded too.

This is great for diet food! lots of flavor. I did add a little more green chiles than called for. I used LaTortilla Factory whole wheat, low carb tortillas - only 50 calories!

Pork Chop Bake

This is really a side dish recipe with pork chops added. It is a meal on it's own and the flavor is okay, nothing special. I put frozen, thawed hash browns on a baking sheet and baked them on convection to get them a little crispy and browned. I used 2 cups of chopped frozen (thawed) broccoli and at leat 1/2 cup onion. Baked it covered for 30 minutes; then another 15 and the onions weren't cooked and all in all it needed more time in the oven. I browned the (2) chops but they sure didn't need 25 to 35 minutes in the oven and they were more than 1/2-inch thick.

I made this for a bunco group and the ladies liked it. It has good flavor and is mildly spicy but I have made better Velveeta or Mexican cheese dip recipes. The beef needs to be very small and maybe using a good chunky salsa would add interest over the rotel. I did not use a slow cooker and it almost filled up an 8x8 serving dish.
