"This recipe for a German Chocolate Crazy Cake is truly deserving of a 5 Spoon Rating! All of the details for proper assembly are clearly written for the newest user to read thoroughly before starting. The Coconut Frosting is the original feature which Bakers' Chocolate used at the introduction of this cake to the public. It is very important to follow the Frosting Recipe as it is a very expensive mixture, yet it is perfection when properly made. It would be a real shame to scorch or burn it when the directions are so clear. The use of the Betty Crocker canned Chocolate Frosting melted at the time of presentation is very clever. If you follow the directions, you only use 1/2 cup of the canned BC Chocolate Frosting-drizzled over the cake. It does give a spectacular presentation. If you are going for an extra highlite, drizzle a small amout upon each of the 16 servings. "

"This is an excellent recipe for a really quick, hearty supper. It will be enticing to teenage boys (with very fussy eating habits). It will also be a good basic 'teaching tool' for young cooks who need to learn how to create satisfying dishes by combining simple items from a standard pantry. They will also find just one of many ways to use refrigerated biscuits to enhance a recipe."

"I did ask for a CO Sauce recipe. The photo shows sliced almonds (toasted or not?), a baked wheel of Brie seated upon a "baked" sheet of docked Puff Pastry. The sauce sounds OK but the total lack of detail in a 'how-to-use' suggestion is going to make it hard to search in my Recipe Bos. "
