"Yummie. I made this, but I only used 1 Cup of crushed berries (measured after crush) and 1 1/2 Cups of sliced. Plenty of fruit. I added 1/2 C of finely chopped pecans on top of the spread, then the berries. I also made some fresh whipped cream for topping. Perfect! "

"Loved it! I used honey roasted almonds (from the salad area) and extra almond flavoring. Then in the homemade whipped cream, I added almond flavoring instead of the ususal vanilla. Nice!"

Impossibly Easy Toffee Bar Cheesecake
"I will give this a three. I followed the instructions to a tee and the part where you say to cook it until it is stiff 2" from the edge and that the center will be giggle is wrong. Cook it for at least 3 to 5 more minutes.... mine never set up in the center so I had to spoon out the un-set gooey center and throw it away."

With so many poor reviews, I ask, how did this recipe win anything at all? I am afraid to try it.

I made this and is is good.... Do NOT add any salt with the bacon, ham and cheeses, that would be way too much salt! I added 3/4 cup chopped sauteed onions....Needs garlic powder and maybe a touch of cilantro if you like. Cooked minimim time in gas oven... anything over would be too long.

Quick Penne Pasta Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
Rating:
Okay, I made this and WOW, it is truly tart! I tried to cut it some by adding a half chopped purple onion; a can of whole blk. olives; 1 Tbsp of white pepper and chopped up a half of packet of fresh basil (leaves only, no stems), then sprinkled fresh parmesian on top too. I used a 12 oz. package of pasta and it really soaked up the juices....use what the recipe calls for. I also sprinkled some VOO. I used too much basil! Didn't like it.
