Oven-Fried Pork Cutlets with Apple Slaw
"Too bad I haven't found this recipe until now. What a find!?!?!?!?!?! I'll have to work on the slaw a bit. I found a bag of slaw mix that was cabbage, red cabbage, carrots and broccoli. Outstanding! I'm a classic slaw lover so I need to figure out how to tweak it to my liking a little better. However, it wasn't bad at all and tasted very refreshing and healthy."

Pizza Biscuit Bake
"My family loved this. After reading the reviews, I added more milk to the biscuit mix and it turned out great. Also, baking it for 29 minutes was perfect! I added onions and bell peppers on the first layer so the kids wouldn't see them. This will give Pizza Hut a run for their money. Very simple to make!"

Oven-Fried Ranch Chicken
"OK, even though it tasted good, I probably shouldn't rate or comment until I try it again. I didn't marinate the chicken as long as it said. Forgot to allow the time for it actually. I believe that on my next try, I will marinate it over night. When I do, I will be back to rate it. It didn't look so good coming out of the oven but the taste was nice and my family liked it."

Italian New Potato Salad
"We all loved it. I used small red potatoes cut into the proper sized chunks; instead of new potatoes. I didn't measure the onions and used too many. You really don't need a lot. I would do a trial run on the onion amount. The kids loved how the Italian dressing made it taste. However, being the kids that they are, they pushed aside the onions and most of the olives. KIDS! :)"

Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies
Rating:
The chocolate? WAY OVER THE TOP! I will have to do these again until I can get them to the point where it's not too sweet or CHOCOLATY!!! Next time my guess is that half the chocolate is enough. Sure the kids thought they were good but that's only after I could pull them off the ceiling later to ask! :)

Ravioli with Peppers and Sun-Dried Tomatoes
Rating:
Very disappointed. It was just ravioli with peppers, onions and cheese melted over it. Guess I should stick with something that has a sauce to it. My family thought it was OK but kept asking did I leave out a sauce. :(

Cinnamon-Oat Scones (Lighter Recipe)
Rating:
Great...but may I say that I have yet to understand why members give items rating on 'considering to try' the recipe instead of waiting until they try THEN rate. It gives a false rating for others. Gee, when everyone else has rated it nearly perfect, someone that hasn't tried it comes along and rates it a 2? Makes no sense; what's their purpose?

Chile Chicken Enchiladas
Rating:
I felt compelled to write a review moreso because I rated this a 3, which is one of if not the lowest score compared to everyone else. First of all, I used beef instead of chicken because chicken 'cubes' didn't appeal to me. My 7 & 15 yr old boys loved it; we even had the salad that was recommended. My 18 yr old daughter and husband said that they were not really impressed. I noticed a harsh taste with the enchilada sauce. Is that the norm? I will try this again later and will work on the tweaking part. There must be something I didn't follow. It can't be the replacement of chicken with beef??
