"As suggested by another reviewer I used 2 T cocoa powder to cut the food coloring taste. The color was still very pretty, but I could still taste the food coloring (I used Wilton) perhaps there is a better brand that doesn't have a weird taste. Both my kids said they tasted a little weird. I also used a vanilla buttercream frosting instead. Maybe using the marshmallow frosting hides the taste better. I will try this recipe again. "

"I really wanted to love this recipe, but didn't. It tastes too much like a cheesy biscuit. I made these for a football party (lots of "dudes") and since none of the guys complimented me on them I consider this a flop. Too bad seems like a good idea, maybe needs some tweaking..."

"I sort of combined this recipe with the other version of Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken)in order to utilize a saffron rice mix. My family loved how tasty and tender the chicken was, but my kids were not fans of the rice/veggie mix. I will make this again because it was a quick, easy different way to prepare chicken, but I'll prepare some other veggie on the side for the kids."

"I was pretty desperate for a quick dinner; since I had all the ingredients on hand I made this for my family and it is a recipe I could make again and everyone would eat it. The kids were on the fence about the spinach, however they liked everything else. (Since I'm the meanest mom in the world, I made them eat the spinach anyway...the complaints were minimal.) I think next time I'll reduce the pasta to 3/4 cup; 1 cup seemed like too much. I only gave it 4 spoons because I think it needs more veggies or something to liven it up, but for a super quick dinner this is great!"
