Classic Sugar Cookies (Cookie Exchange Quantity)
I JUST WANTED TO SHARE A TRICK MY Mother In Law TAUGHT ME WHEN MAKING SUGAR COOKIES OR ANY ROLLED OUT COOKIE... INSTEAD OF USING FLOUR TO ROLL OUT ON AND COAT YOUR ROLLING PIN/CUTTERS WITH... USE ... CONFECTIONER'S SUGAR. YOU'LL FIND OUT THAT THE COOKIES TURN OUT TENDER EVERY TIME, NO MORE TOUGH COOKIES FROM USING FLOUR!

This was one of my MIL's speciality cookies, how I looked foward to exchanging cookie trays with her just so I would get some of these as well as other favorutes she made! A TRICK SHE TAUGHT ME ABOUT ANY COOKIE THAT THE DOUGH NEEDS ROLLED OUT IS TO USE POWERED SUGAR INSTEAD OF FLOUR FOR ROLLING, IT MAKES FOR A MUCH TENDER COOKIE, WHERE AS FLOUR TENDS TO MAKE FOR A TOUGHER COOKIE! THE TIP WORKS REALLY WELL WITH THESE AND SUGAR COOKIES TOO!
