"This was so easy and had a tasty but not overpowering flavor - almost like a porchetta. I added some water to the pan and two quartered potatoes suggested by another reviewer. I cooked some zucchini and had a "special" dinner with no fuss. "

"Tasty and easy! I baked them a couple minutes longer, fliped them over and broiled for 2 minutes and they were crispy and still moist."

"This sauce was really tasty. I omitted the meat and mushrooms for a marinara version and used whole, peeled tomatoes instead of the diced ones. After 9 hours, the color and consistency was as good as any homemade Italian recipe I've ever eaten and no stirring or burning on the bottom of the pan! I will use this recipe from now on."

"This is delicious! I almost didn't make it because it was called a "stew" and made me think of watery, tasteless stews with stringy beef. The only substitution I made was to use a large can of no salt cut carrots instead of the baby carrots. You can't go wrong with this one - just don't stir it until it's done! "
