"I made this exactly as recipe stated. The crust would not hold together, definitely needed more butter to make a real crust. Because the crumbs were still so loose even after being squished down and baked, the application of slightly melted ice cream was difficult. The crust kept lift up and it was difficult to lay everything back down nicely. The marshmallows did brown nicely but were very sticky to cut and did not make for a pretty presentation on the birthday plates, more a ball of marshmallow on each square. Flavors were fine because I used high quality ingredients. Would not make again as the hassle was not worth the outcome."

"Used spicy sausage. I had never used kale before and missed the note about removing stems. That would have made for a nicer eating experience. The serving is generous. I added a half can of water to thin out consistency. Easy to make and good flavor."

"Wonderful! Made this three times now. Family thought it smelled weird but has requested it the two previous times. Suggestions for prep: really spend time cutting the cabbage thin- cut both directions and watch for large white pieces that tend never to soften. I do use one and a half times the juice and vinegar (not extra sugar)to create good juices."

"I was thrilled with the need to make several dishes dirty (soaking, egg mix plus baking dish) but the end result was a pleasant dish. The potato "shell" could use a little salt and pepper. My family enjoyed it - including my 2 and 4 year olds."
