"This recipe was great. The only changes I made were substituting Betty Crocker yellow cake mix for Pillsbury Reduced Sugar Classic Yellow cake mix (they were out of Betty Crocker classic yellow) as well as adding about a pinch more lemon zest. Tip: you should need about 4/5 lemons for the amount of lemon zest required. I had to run back to the grocery store to buy more lemons! Overall, this was a fantastic, straightforward recipe which both my neighbors and family loved. "

"I made these brownies over winter break, and they were completely delicious. However, I did not follow the directions exactly; I substituted Joy of Cooking recipes in place of brownie mix and pre-packaged fudge sauce. The cherry marshmallow cream never fully hardened, and I ended up storing the brownies in the freezer as opposed to the refrigerator, because the cream would have melted. THE GOOD: These brownies were the best I have ever made. THE BAD: It took an extremely long time to make, including clean up of all the equipment. By the time I was done it was around midnight. You should definitely try this recipe, but only if you are prepared to dedicate yourself to a few hours of cooking."
