Sausage Cheese Balls
"I made these for an appetizer on Thanksgiving because they seemed super easy to make and they were a HUGE hit! Everyone loved them and dipping them in BBQ sauce was a perfect match! My boyfriend even requested I make them for our Super Bowl party this year. These will always have a spot in my "keeper" recipes."

Streusel Berry Muffins
"I just got done making these for my boyfriend because if I don't make him some type of muffin or scone he won't make time for breakfast! I didn't have all the exact ingredients though, for example, I used almond milk instead of regular milk, I didn't have any lemon to add lemon peel, I left out the cinnamon (I like cinnamon better with banana or apple, not so much with berries) I also didn't have fresh berries so I used some blackberries, strawberries and blueberries that I had frozen from last spring...so technically they were "fresh frozen". The flavor is fantastic! I am confident these will be approved to be made again ;o)"

Caramel Apple-Nut Bars
"I was so excited when I saw this recipe, thought it would be a nice fall treat. I was extremely disappointed with the end result. I feel there was WAY too much butter called for in the recipe making the bars very greasy and crumbly. When I removed the bars from the pan there was a layer of butter left on the bottom which resulted in the bottom layer becoming soggy and almost tasting un-cooked. With all the butter flavor in the recipe I think the apple and caramel flavor was completely lost in the end product. If I were to make these again I would decrease the amount of butter and add more apples...but I doubt I will make it again."

Slow Cooker Jambalaya
"I made this for my boyfriends family reunion and it was a huge hit. I did make a few changes to it though. Instead of all the different seasonings I used 2 tablespoons of Creole Seasoning, it gave it a nice spice. I also didn't use the shrimp, instead used two packages of smoked sausage, because my boyfriend is not a huge seafood fan but I didn't even miss it with all the wonderful flavors that developed. My boyfriend took the leftovers and said they were just as good the next day. I will definitely be making this again, I highly recommend it."

Quick-Mix Chocolate Cookies

These were a bit messier to make than I would have liked or expected but turned out fantastic! I substituted the oil for unsweetened apple sauce and added some coconut, very yummy.
