I love to cook, so does my husband. We are both quite good in the kitchen and make most things from scratch. I would much rather use a recipe than a box mix even if it takes more time. I find cooking enjoyable and relaxing.

Santa Fe Foldover (Cooking for 2)
"Made this for dinner tonight and it was excellent! Added a bit of taco seasoning to the beans and topped it with lettuce, green onion, salsa, and a bit of fresh cilantro. Will definitely make this one again! "

Baked Apple Oatmeal
"This was good but not as good as I was expecting based on the reviews. That said, I did eat an entire serving and will make this again probably adding more cinnamon and a little vanilla extract. I would recommend trying it as it is quite good just missing something for me. Maybe cranberries would be a good addition also. Happy cooking! "

Beef and Bean Taco Casserole
"Let me start by saying I altered this recipe before I made it the first time. I am a vegetarian so I left out the meat and added a can of drained and rinsed black beans along with the refried beans. After reading the reviews, I also added corn. This dish was really good! Not only did we enjoy the flavour, it was quick and easy to make plus I have all the ingredients in the house. I have made this a couple of times now, with and without the chips baked in the casserole. We like it better as a dip and add guacamole and salsa and eat it with chips. This may very well be dinner tonight!"
