"Variation: I have an apple tree that has had a banner year so I have been making applesauce and pie filling to use with recipes. I adapted this recipe to use my pie filling that already has spices and sugar and tapioca. I increased the Bisquick to 1 and 1/2 cups and added 4 cups of my pie filling instead of 6 cups of apples and folded it into the Bisquick, eggs, oil and milk. I omitted sugar and spices. I increased the baking time to 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a knife came out clean. I like more crisp that the recipe calls for so I increased it for 1 1/2 times the recipe. I just finished my seconds and it is amazing. Even better if you add whipped cream or ice cream. Yum."
